HIPS: suspended from 21 May 2010

The Government has announced the suspension of Home Information Packs with effect from 21 May 2010.

This will allow potential sellers to save between £300 and £500 when marketing their property for sale.

The Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) will be retained. Sellers will still be required to commission, but won't need to have received an EPC before marketing their property.

If you require an EPC, speak to Hema Patani at Bradshaw Hollingsworth Solicitors on 0116 204 2506. Hema is a conveyancing solicitor, specialising in house sales and purchases, and acts on transactions throughout Leicester, Leicestershire and nationwide.
