Insolvency Services
Have you received a Statutory Demand, Winding-up Petition or Bankruptcy Petition? What would happen to your business if your bank account were frozen? That is what can happen if you fail to deal with a Winding-Up Petition served upon your company. Our Insolvency team can advise you on dealing with the process. Tight time limits apply to these processes, so you do need to take advice as soon as possible. The failure to do so can lead to very serious sanctions. We also provide advice to clients who may have cash flow and financial problems, advising them on the options available to them, including voluntary liquidation. We advise directors on what they should do if their business is in difficulties. Remember, directors can be personally liable for debts if their company trades whilst insolvent. Bradshaw Hollingsworth advises Insolvency Practioners, advising on both Corporate and Individual Insolvency, providing commercially minded and practical advice on issues which arise. Some of recent examples of our work include:
For individuals, we can advise on a Statutory Demand that you may have received, or even on how to make yourself bankrupt if you cannot repay your debts. Our bankruptcy advice includes advising on the implications of bankruptcy and the other available options, which may include an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA). We also deal with applications to annul a Bankruptcy Order made against you.
